Plant Features of the PSA Hydrogen Plant:

The foundation of this groundbreaking device lies in the utilization of methanol tail gas as its raw material. This choice is driven by the presence of argon in methanol tail gas, a component that poses a unique challenge in hydrogen purification. In conventional scenarios, ordinary adsorbents exhibit low selectivity for argon, making the removal of argon from hydrogen a daunting task. To overcome this hurdle, TCWY conducted extensive experimental studies, resulting in the development of a specialized adsorbent with a remarkably high separation coefficient for argon. This innovative solution has been seamlessly integrated into the device, marking a significant advancement in hydrogen purification technology.

Through the implementation of our proprietary adsorbent, the device achieves the remarkable feat of reducing the argon content in the raw gas from 2% to an impressive less than 10ppm. This translates to a product hydrogen purity exceeding 99.999%, setting new standards in purity levels. The successful application of our argon removal technology not only enhances the efficiency of hydrogen production but also positions this device as a pivotal component in Chongqing city's hydrogen energy demonstration project.

Beyond its technical achievements, this device plays a crucial role in promoting hydrogen energy. As part of Chongqing city's hydrogen energy demonstration project, the purified hydrogen, produced using TCWY's PSA technology, finds applications in hydrogen-powered vehicles.
